Cherokee County Commission on Alcohol and Drug Abuse is a facility for the prevention, intervention, and other drug problems. The Commission, founded in 1972, is governed by a seven member Board of Directors appointed by the Cherokee County Council. The Commission contracts with the S.C. Department of Alcohol and Other Drug Services (DAODAS) as part of that organization’s statewide 301 system.
Calls to numbers dedicated to a treatment facility will be routed and answered by that treatment center. All other calls will be routed to our Hotline, allowing for individuals or families to speak with an addiction specialist.
